Sustainability professionals in Africa are in high demand
Posted on 15 November, 2024 by Jobnet Africa
I’m sure we’ve all heard of the climate agreement COP26. Since we are very active in the agro supply chain and food production sectors in Africa, this agreement is definitely a trending topic.
A lot of companies are actively setting up sustainability departments, sustainability processes and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is a rather popular term these days.
So, it’s no surprise that because of these developments there is quite a high demand for sustainability professionals in Africa. Since these developments are relatively new, these professionals have much sought after skills and these skills they are still quite rare. We are noticing that the larger companies active in Africa are looking to headhunt the top candidates that are in the market right now.
There might be a bit of a run on the top performers in the sustainability sector and if you don’t want to be missing out, it will be good to have a chat with your recruiter.
We are happy to jump on a call if you are interested in the top performers in the sustainability sector in Africa. We have been head hunting a lot of these professionals very recently and have a good idea of the current market. Feel free to email me on inez@jobnetafrica.com.
