Our client is a premier hydroponic flower farm based just outside Nairobi, Kenya, recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in the global floriculture market.

The farm cultivates and exports premium roses to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and operates with a focus on precision agriculture, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Through controlled-environment agriculture, advanced fertigation systems, and integrated pest management, our client is setting new benchmarks in flower quality and production consistency.

We are recruiting a Data-Driven Agronomist, who is passionate about precision farming, operational analytics, and leadership development. The farm is supported by a dedicated team of experts, driving innovation in floriculture.

This role requires someone who has proven experience managing complex farm operations of at least 44 hectares, with clear evidence of planning, execution, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead agronomic and operational execution across a large-scale hydroponic farm
  • Analyze production, pest, climate, and fertigation data to improve yield, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with senior technical and operational leaders to translate data into action.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure resources are optimally allocated and execution is aligned with strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • MSc degree in Agronomy or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Strong Excel skills is a must-have
  • Strong background in floriculture or horticulture (including soil-based farming)
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and high standards.
