Our client is a leading global player in the commodity trading sector, specialized in the trade and supply chain management of agricultural products.

By connecting producers and consumers worldwide, they aim to drive growth and deliver value across global markets while maintaining a commitment to ethical practices and environmental stewardship.

With future regulations in mind, they are looking to add a Sustainability Compliance Data Manager to their team in the Netherlands.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop processes, procedures and SOPs between trade, logistics and sustainability departments and external suppliers and clients, and monitor execution and improvement of the processes
  • Create and maintain central databases for farmer geo-location, coffee & cocoa traceability and shipment log collating data from different systems (incl CSV) with dashboards
  • Execute frequent scheduled and impromptu data requests from clients, governments and other stakeholders by compiling, analysing and validating data from the company and third parties
  • Independently create and maintain large Due Diligence documentation file for different origins using regulatory guidance and sector frameworks
  • Supporting deforestation-related data reports for the companies' banks and impact investors
  • Providing deforestation data support to non-EUDR commodity supply chains

Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in an ESG, data or compliance-oriented role
  • Expertise in Excel, PowerBi scripting (other software or programming languages are a plus)
  • Knowledge about Geo Information Systems and remote sensing tools
  • Good analytical writing skills (research framework)
