Is your employer brand important for recruitment?
Posted on 17 January, 2025 by Jobnet Africa
In short, the answer to this question is ‘yes, very important’. With a high demand for top-quality candidates, they will definitely look for a company with a strong employer brand to join.
To them, an employer that knows what they stand for, what they are doing, and where they are going and can explain and visualize this in a clear way, is very attractive. And rightfully so…
Your employer brand is also a tool for your recruitment. Your recruiter is actually an extension and therefore a part of your employer brand. So, make sure your recruiter is aware of your employer brand and that it is the right partner to propagate your values and what you stand for.
So good feedback, timely responses, and clear communication, even when you reject a candidate, are very important for your employer branding. Your employees, but also the applicants play a part in your brand.
