How not to lose great candidates

Tips for avoiding offer rejection by candidates:
You know the feeling when you finally find the perfect candidate after a long search and they decline your offer? It’s frustrating, right? Well, this happens more often than you think, especially in Africa where determining the right benchmark package can be challenging.
To avoid such disappointments, it’s wise to have a chat with your executive recruiter to determine if the maximum package you have in mind is realistic. If not, consider tweaking the package a bit or dropping a few non-essential requirements. This way, you can still source qualified candidates who are a bit less expensive.
Sure, it may be a bit of a struggle, but being well-prepared and discussing your options with your executive recruiter beforehand can reduce the chances of offer rejection. Don’t let the perfect candidate slip away due to unrealistic expectations. Take the necessary steps to secure your ideal candidate and build a successful team.
