First time right
Posted on 4 October, 2024 by Jobnet Africa
I just bumped into my neighbour across the street and noticed that he was making some alterations to his house.
On the top floor, they were taking out a part of the wall and adding a lovely entrance to the deck. So, I asked him if his door was affected by the massive storm, we had a few days ago.
He told me that he really got ‘bitten in the backside’ because the door was definitely not installed properly. He had to call in another contractor and ended up paying double the price to fix the door.
It’s all sorted now, but it cost him a lot of time and actually became a more expensive option rather than going with the initial, pricier choice.
I found it to be a funny story because, in executive search, we often hear comments about the generally high prices or costs.
However, what we promise and what we do as executive recruiters is getting the job done right the first time, ultimately saving you time and money, just as it could have for my neighbour.
I just wanted to share this little story. I hope it makes sense.
